"Hello! Am I talking to Mr. Cabir Murthy?"

"No!! You're talking to Mrs. Cabir Murthy"

"Good morning Mam, I'm calling you from the Malhotra Industries on behalf of the owner Mr. Manik Malhotra. And I am asked to inform Mr. Cabir Murthy that we have a job offer for him, with the starting salary of 2.5 lacs"

"What!! I never knew that Cabir have applied for any corporate job?"

"No Mam! It's our company who is offering this job to him."

"And why is that?"

"Sorry Mam!! I don't know much about it, but I'm just asked to tell Mr. Cabir Murthy that our boss Mr. Manik Malhotra is personally inviting him to join our company."

"Ohh-kay!! Can you just wait until I call him."

"Sure Mam!"

She immediately ran upstairs and almost fell over the bed where a person was snoring in deep slumber.

"Cabirrrrr!!!! Cabir wake up! Cabir wake up, I said wake up now Cabir"

"What's so urgent Navya? Why are you shouting?" he asked removing the comforter from his face.

She sat beside him and continue "There's a call for you downstairs from any Malhotra Industries and some Manik Malhotra is offering you a 2.5 lac's job"

And when she finished Cabir burst out into historic laughter.

"Didn't you get something sensible to wake me up?" He said between his laughs.

She got up and said folding her arms around her chest "Cabir there's a call for you downstairs trust me."

"And if there's not, then trust me you're going to pay for that.. Mind it!" Cabir warned her while getting up from the bed.

He came downstairs and received the call "Hello!! Cabir Murthy speaking"

"Cabir Bhaiya?" Someone exclaimed in excitement.

"Who's that?" Cabir asked in confusion.

"Bhaiya it's me Manik, remember 10th July 6 years back, that night a boy barged in your house"

"Mr. & Mrs. Murthy, this way please." The receptionist called them sweetly and directed them towards the C.E.O. 's cabin.

As soon they entered inside the cabin Manik flashed his 32 inch smile and rushed toward them to receive them. Cabir and Navya were amazed to see him after so many years. He looks good.

Manik didn't left any shortage to felicitate them. Tea, coffee, juice, snacks, breakfast etc etc. He talked a lot, they talked a lot.

About that night.

About his struggle.

About the rivals.

About their punishments.

And finally about the job offer.

"Manik i understand your point but I can't take this job." Manik starred blankly at Cabir when he refused his offer. Still he wanted to try his level best to make him agree to his offer "But why Bhaiya? You remember that right. I had nothing and I could have nothing if it wasn't You, i just can't thank you enough for that night. Now please don't say no. Please Bhaiya. Bhabi ji please make him understand to work with me. I Need Him by my side"

When still Cabir nodded his head in no, a helpless Manik turned toward Navya and plead to her to persuade her husband.

Cabir was constantly looking down till now and trying to analyze the situation, but after sometime he spoke.

"Manik you are not getting my point. I know I helped you on your misery but not for this. I know you want to thank me and I accept that but not this, this job, This is against my morals. You know I already have a govt job in banking sector and I'm happy with it." Manik's instigate and pressure made him raise his voice.

"But Bhaiya!" For one last time Manik tried to speak but cut in-between.

Cabir got up from his chair and forward his hand for a handshake "I think we should leave, Nice to meet you Manik"

Unwillingly Manik also got up and forced a little smile to him "Nice to meet you too Bhaiya"

"Akhir problem kya hai?" Navya asked Cabir while walking inside their little balcony after finishing their dinner.

Cabir turned around to her and said "Navya have you gone mad, You know I can't do this"

Navya sighed in annoyance and tried to convince him "But why? What's the problem? He's offering that job upon your talent and qualifications then why can't you accept it?"

Since it's a week of visiting Malhotra Industries and nowadays this is a quite regular routine of them to argue on that 'JOB' topic.

Cabir have denied that job offer quite evidently but Navya wants him to go for it as they are really suffering in the Money Matter.

A 9 to 5 govt banking job is not enough to survive in the Big City like Mumbai with flat rent, sister's study and the household expenses. Navya thought practically and Cabir thought emotionally.

"I understand everything Navya but how can i leave my job just like that. Means without any reasons" after a long pause Cabir stated in low voice.

"Cabir!! This can't be a excuse, find something better" said Navya.

"I'm not giving any excuses" Cabir said while taking Navya into his arms.

"Don't worry baba! Everything will be alright"

"Bhabi bas bas! It's enough" Manik shouted hopelessly and tried to cover his plate when Navya picked up one more paratha to serve him.

But Navya being Navya, She insist him to eat more. At least one more paratha "Are aise kaise. You remember last time you ate 5 parathas, so now atleast eat 4 na"

Actually the day Cabir called in Malhotra Industries and accepted Manik's proposal on the very next day Manik landed up here at Cabir's flat to start the procedure personally and as it was Morning, so Navya insist him to join them for breakfast.

Manik was already struggling with the second paratha when Navya insist him to have one more.

But Cabir come up as the Savior for Manik "Navya if he don't wanna have more than don't give him" He said smilingly.

"Thik hai. You guys have your breakfast I'll go and check Nandu" Navya also sighed in defeat and left to call Nandu.

As soon Navya left the hall Manik sighed in relief "Thank you so much Bhaiya! She haven't changed a bit" This made Cabir chuckle cheekily.

After sometimes a girl came running into the hall while yapping at someone who was coming after her.

"Bhabhiiii no na!!! I don't wanna go. Mujhe nai jana college"

She has her eyes closed and her tone was extremely sleepy and throaty. She came straight toward the dining area and without bothering of the surrounding she sat beside Manik and lean herself in his arms, Leaving everyone in shock she hugged him and cursed her bhabi with some harmless words who stopped beside Cabir's chair.

Manik was stoned on his place so couldn't moved or said anything when Nandini snuggled into him and gripped his jacket more tightly.

Don't know why but Manik found it cute and smiled unknowingly but before anyone can notice he hide it.

Breaking the ice Cabir cleared his throat and said "Nandu! Beta get up"

But here Nandini didn't even realized that the person she's clinging is not her Bhaiya.

She hide her face in Manik's chest then said "Bhaiya no na. Let me sleep"

Where at the other end Manik was struggling with his Ragging Breathes, Rushing Hormones and Awkward Emotions.

He looked at everyone helplessly then said "Err!!! Nandu!"

But Nandu seems in deep sleep so she didn't reacted "Umm" and just groaned in disturbance.

Manik looked lost watching her cuteness and said "You should go to college you know it's important for your future" while tucking the hair strand behind her ear which was falling over her face.

Nandini get irritated by continuous disturbance and now Manik's unfamiliar touch forced her to open her eyes "And who are you to tell me what should I do and..."

Her voice died on her throat when she found herself in Manik's arms. She shot a look toward her Bhaiya and Bhabi and then again looked at Manik who was already starring at her.

Nandini gasped and detached herself, She smiled awkwardly and sat straight.

"Nandu meet MANIK, Manik Malhotra, my boss. And Sir she's my Sister NANDINI"
